Restoring American Opportunity

A Jobs, Business & Entrepreneurship Plan For Working Americans

America used to be the country where hardworking people could build something. A good job could support a family. Small businesses could grow from nothing. Entrepreneurs could take risks and create wealth. Today, too many Americans feel locked out of opportunity.

Wages have not kept up with inflation. Housing costs are crushing families. Millions of people are working harder than ever while feeling stuck financially. At the same time, starting a business has become more complicated, more expensive, and harder to finance for ordinary Americans.

That needs to change.

I believe America needs a new national focus on jobs, entrepreneurship, and upward mobility — a system designed to reward hard work, encourage innovation, and create more pathways to prosperity.

A Modern American Jobs Program

During the Great Depression, President Franklin D. Roosevelt launched large-scale public works programs that put millions of Americans back to work building roads, bridges, electrical systems, parks, schools, and infrastructure. Those programs did more than create jobs — they restored dignity, skills, and economic movement throughout the country.

America needs that same spirit again.

I support a modern national jobs initiative focused on:

  • infrastructure modernization,

  • energy expansion,

  • technology installation,

  • transportation improvements,

  • housing development,

  • public safety support,

  • and skilled trade expansion.

If America needs rebuilding, Americans should be hired to rebuild it.

These jobs should:

  • pay competitive wages,

  • provide training,

  • create long-term career pathways,

  • and prioritize working Americans who are trying to improve their lives.

Helping Hard Workers Move Up

Too many people feel trapped in low-paying jobs with no direction, no mentorship, and no pathway upward.

I believe the government should actively help hardworking people improve their earning power.

That means creating:

  • national career assistance centers,

  • workforce coaching programs,

  • trade certifications,

  • resume and interview assistance,

  • apprenticeship partnerships,

  • and direct job placement programs.

In simple terms:
We should have systems dedicated to helping people make more money and improve their lives.

Not everybody needs a four-year degree.
Some people need:

  • training,

  • guidance,

  • opportunity,

  • and someone helping connect them to better-paying careers.

Rebuilding The American Small Business Economy

Small businesses are the backbone of America, but many entrepreneurs feel completely unsupported.

The SBA and many existing government programs do a poor job reaching ordinary people who want to build businesses. Most Americans don’t even know what resources exist or how to access them.

That has to change.

I want America aggressively recruiting entrepreneurs the same way colleges recruit athletes.

We need:

  • national advertising campaigns encouraging entrepreneurship,

  • local business startup centers,

  • mentorship programs,

  • simplified loan processes,

  • and real support for first-time business owners.

America should be producing builders again.

The 3X Startup Investment Plan

One idea I strongly support is a government-backed startup matching program.

Here’s how it works:

If an entrepreneur saves $5,000 of their own money toward a legitimate startup business, the government could match or multiply that investment through a structured small business loan program.

For example:

  • You invest $5,000 into your business idea

  • The government provides an additional $15,000 business startup loan

  • You now have $20,000 to launch or scale your company

This is not free money.

It’s an investment into American productivity and innovation.

Applicants would still need:

  • a realistic business plan,

  • financial projections,

  • repayment strategies,

  • and accountability standards.

But the system would finally reward initiative and preparation instead of only rewarding people who already have wealth or perfect credit.

America Must Lead In Innovation Again

America became the world’s economic leader because we encouraged creators, inventors, builders, and entrepreneurs.

We need to return to that mindset.

That means supporting:

  • technology startups,

  • manufacturing,

  • small business innovation,

  • skilled trades,

  • AI and engineering,

  • creative industries,

  • and modern entrepreneurship.

We should be helping people build the future — not burying them in red tape before they even begin.

Explaining It In Simple Terms

This plan is simple:

I want hardworking Americans to have more opportunities to:

  • get better jobs,

  • earn more money,

  • start businesses,

  • build wealth,

  • and improve their lives.

That means:

  • more jobs,

  • more training,

  • more business funding,

  • more entrepreneurship,

  • and more investment in American workers and creators.

America should once again be a country where effort, discipline, and innovation can lead to real prosperity.
